Crafted by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron in New Orleans in 1874, Southern Comfort was originally made with a whiskey base, but for many years the spirit was omitted from the recipe until it was acquired by the Sazerac Company.
Returning to their roots, Southern Comfort offers the warm mellow flavors of whiskey blended with fruit and spice flavors. Perfect on its own or mixed into a variety of cocktails, Southern Comfort is a bar essential.
