A blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay (in fact, the only red blend permitted by Burgundy's appellation requirements), fresh cherry and red currant predominate on the palate. Just the right amount of tannin on the finish gives the wine the classic grip that the region is known for. A must try for the price!
