Description:

Grape:  Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes: Cherry, Raspberry, Cola, Earth

Chacra was created in 2004 by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, whose grandfather started the legendary Sassicaia Winery in Tuscany. Piero respects the environment by following biodynamic and organic principles. He has made a name for Bodega Chacra by crafting the most elegant and Burgundian examples of Pinot Noir from South America.

In Patagonia, a “chacra” is a special piece of land separated by canals that bring snowmelt from the Andes and make the Patagonian Desert fertile. Sin Azufre is Piero's no-sulfur-added cuvée of Pinot Noir. It's clean, light, fresh, medium-bodied, precise, and chiseled with very fine, powdery tannins and just 12% alcohol.  On the palate you'll note flavors of red berries, cherry, earth, leather, cherry cola, mineral, and light spices with a hint of mushroom. Put a little chill on it and pair with seafood or white meats.
