Irish coffee

A deliciously warm and caffeinated cocktail best enjoyed around a fire.


This recipe will make two cocktails



  • 16 ounces hot water
  • 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 2 ounces Irish whiskey (such as Jameson)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream for topping
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish


  • Fill 2 mugs with hot water and let sit 2 minutes. Pour out water and add 1 teaspoon light brown sugar to each mug. Pour over hot coffee and stir to dissolve sugar, then pour in whiskey.
  • In a separate bowl with an electric mixer or by hand, whisk cream until soft peaks form. Cream should be thick but still pourable. Top coffee with cream by gently pouring over the back of a warm spoon to form a thick layer on top of coffee. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

The Perfect Mudslide

The mudslide is a crowd favorite dessert cocktail. Fun Fact: The mudslide is a variation of the White Russian, which was created on an island in Grand Cayman during the mid 1970's.



  • Chocolate syrup, for glass
  • 4 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces
  • Kahlua 2 ounces
  • Baileys 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Ice
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish



  • Add chocolate syrup to inside of two cocktail glass.  
  • Add vodka, Kahlua, Baileys, and heavy cream to a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill with ice and shake until well chilled.  
  • Strain into glasses and garnish with chocolate shavings.

French 75

This sparkling and refreshing cocktail is the perfect option choice when you're celebrating or just simply trying to keep it light and fresh!



  • 3 ounces gin
  • 2 ounces. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounces simple syrup
  • Ice, for shaking
  • Sparkling wine, like champagne, prosecco or cava
  • Lemon twists, for garnish



  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup. Add a few cubes of ice, then cover and shake for 10-20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture and divide evenly into two champagne flutes. Top with chilled champagne, garnish with a lemon twist and serve immediately.

Cranberry Smash

This festive and fun cocktail will have all of your guests coming back for seconds and you'll go down as the hostess with the mostest this holiday season!



  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
  • 2 ounces gin, or vodka works, too
  • Soda water
  • Ice
  • Juice of 1 lime plus extra wedges for serving



  • Combine rosemary, sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves. Let stand until completely cool, then discard rosemary.


  • Muddle cranberry sauce in a cocktail shaker. Add gin, 1 tablespoon rosemary simple syrup and lime juice and shake to combine. Strain evenly into two cocktail glasses filled with ice.

  • Top with soda water. Serve with additional lime wedges.
