Brettanomyces Farmhouse Ale Fermented with Marionberries The childhood farm of our brewers is the source of their love of all things cultivated from soil, sweat, and hard-earned know-how. Their grandfather was a purveyor of preserves and jams made from berries and fruits that he harvested with his own hands. From this early inspiration the seed of our craft took root and grew into a philosophy of creating beer with integrity from berry to barrel to bottle. Ferme de Grand-pere is a foeder-aged, brettanomyces farmhouse ale. This tart, deep amber ale was rested on over a pound per gallon of marionberries and bottle conditioned in our cellar to reflect and echo the rustic farm-style beers of old.
